We break down traditional baby Ayurveda daily practices (dinacarya) into six guided modules:

  1. Baby Abhyanga (Oil Massage): Learn artful techniques to practically integrate into a busy parenthood. An instructional demonstration of oil massage which you can follow along with. Sooth the nervous system, enhance sleep, boost immunity and promote overall health with baby abhyanga. This is the core ritual of these lessons.
  2. Udvartanam / Uptam (Herbal Paste Application): An efficient way to remove the oil after the abhyanga. Uptam also comes with health benefits such as glowing skin, lymphatic flow, healthy circulation, strong bones, body-hair management (for girls) + more.
  3. Snān (Bathing): Ayurveda bathing principles provide signifiant opportunities for productive baby growth and strength. You would have not believed how powerful bathing can be for your baby's health.
  4. Dhupana (Fumigation): Learn the methodology and significance of using herbal fumigation to promote respiratory health and prevent infections, viruses and bad-bacteria.
  5. Dress & Kajal / Añjana: In this lesson, you will learn about the traditional Ayurvedic practices of dressing your baby and applying a specific herbal paste called Kajal (Añjana) to their face

Meet Your Instructor: Vaidya Nayani Raju

This community is led by Dr. Vaidya 'Padma' Nayani Raju, who is known to be a "mother to many" at the world-renowned Raju family Ayurveda clinic in South India.

A dedicated mother to twin children, Vaidya Nayaniji vulnerably shares her challenging yet rewarding journey of raising her children using specliased postpartum and postnatal rituals that were passed down by her family over many generations.

Practicing for over 7 generations (or more), The Raju Family's specialise in a most refined, accurate and comprehensive patient evaluation through Pulse Diagnosis, fertility and hormonal treatments, and very effective, precise and individualised application of rare and powerful herbal formulas.
